As a result of winning contract opportunities for Technical Support / Help Desk Specialists and requests from our Federal Government clients to augment our existing Technical Support Teams, IBISKA is looking for experienced individuals to meet our increased demand in the National Capital region.

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Responsible for providing 1st level IM/IT services to clients, via phone and/or email; as well as;
  • Responding on-site and providing resolution support to requests for assistance to rectify problems with Personal Computers (PCs), laptops, monitors, printers, scanners as well as peripheral and mobile devices;
  • Participate in rollout activities, software/hardware installation and troubleshooting support including Active Directory administration.

Skills/Qualifications Required

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience within the last four (4) years providing Help Desk Services in an IT service environment;
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience within the last four (4) years providing on-site MS Office 2003/2007 (or later) suite support;
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience within the last four (4) years supporting and troubleshooting MS Outlook 2003 (or later) in a MS Exchange 2003 (or later) environment;
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience within the last four (4) years, providing technical support to clients in a Windows XP/7 (or later) desktop environment;
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience within the last four (4) years providing Computer Operations Support in an Active Directory environment;
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience within the last four (4) years using Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) tools Such as Assyst, Remedy, Service Center;
  • Some positions require fluent bilingualism (English and French);
  • All positions require a valid Government of Canada security clearance.
