Overview

  IBISKA has ongoing consulting opportunities for data center (DC) engineering, migration, and implementation expertise. Ideal candidates will have participated at a senior level in data center migration projects:

  • Project Managers – client facing transition management
  • Project Engineers –design of DC solutions from client requirements
  • Projects Integrators – implementation of DC solutions and its component technologies

 Business Requirements:

  • Demonstrated consulting proficiency at the senior consulting level
  • Hosting Solutions experience
  • Business continuity design and or implementation experience involving data backup, recovery and/or replication technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with virtualization technologies
  • Demonstrated success delivering recommendations and presentations to senior level management.
  • Outstanding analytical skills (e.g., must be able to analyze unique customer environments and suggest appropriate DC solutions).

 Technical Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of data management concepts, technologies and architecture
  • Extensive experience with data center infrastructure design standards and best practices
  • Knowledge of clustering technologies and server/storage virtualization technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of backup and recovery software
  • Strong understanding of replication and vaulting technologies
  • Strong understanding of SAN technologies, including server component, switch component and storage component
  • Strong understanding of NAS technologies
  • Senior knowledge of Cisco Data Center products and solutions
  • Strong knowledge of data center environmental standards and “Green IT” initiatives
